| Hand Engraving - learn about hand engraving and its applications from a master engraver. Nikolay Berenjoy. As a young boy in Russia, Nikolay began to appreciate metal arts and the intricate details of hand engraved gold and silver. He would ask the elder master engravers to teach him how to make the detailed pieces he so admired. Design and Rendering - Robyn Kleinhans. This workshop teaches you the practical elements of design. You will learn how to transfer your design ideas to paper using basic rendering skills. Projects are developed to teach skills needed to work with customers on designing personal, original pieces of jewelry with emphasis on concepts and portfolio presentations. Robyn has many years of jewelry design experience along with a retails store background that give depth to this valuable workshop. |
