  1. What are the tuition and fees for the classes?

  3. What Financial Aid or Student Loans programs are available?
    We can assist you with student loan applications, applied through this office. We can do this on the telephone or in person with you. There are additional creative financing solutions with some scholarships being available. When a student loan is approved, the funds are sent directly to the school. Loan fees are reasonable and there is no payment required until one year after you receive the initial disbursement. You will have 15 years to make payments so it gives you time to get the loan paid. Sorry, but student loans are not available for International Student tuition or fees.

  4. When are the next starting dates for a class?
    Class start dates are ongoing. Jewelry Arts classes start on the first Monday of each month. Foundation and Diploma courses start 2 times per year. All start dates are listed on the schedules and fees page and workshop start dates are listed on the workshop schedules page.

  5. Requests for information.
    This website: www.jewelrytraining.com is complete. Yes there is a little more to tell of the classes but our brochures state much of the same information as on the website. We would prefer to talk to you personally about your goals and how CIJT can help you attain them, our classes, the methodology and strong points of our educational programs. Please call and ask to speak with Robyn or Dee. They will answer all of your questions or forward you to the person best suited to do so.. The toll free number is 800-731-1122. You may also use our Information Request form to submit your request online. When we receive this, we will respond to you quickly.

  6. How about housing and living accommodations?
    We have safe and secure student housing available. Should there be no vacancies, we assist in placing you in a comfortable living situation.. The cost of this is approximately $700.00 per month with a room mate in student housing. The cost of an apartment with no roommates will be about $900.00 per month. Student housing is close to shopping malls and bus lines and is offered on a reservation basis. The above costs are for rent only and do not include food or entertainment.

  7. I am an International student - what information is required?
    CIJT is an authorized by the federal government to enroll immigrant non-alien student. The international applicant requirement will file a financial statement with CIJT to prove ability to live and study in U.S. for a maximum of one year, a valid passport, a completed application which can be downloaded from our application page or use the links to the right. A deposit is required before an I-20 can be issued for U.S. Embassy interview. The International Student entrance requirements provide a detailed list for your use. Please contact us for more specifics.

  8. What Certificates or Diplomas are available through your programs?

    • Jewelry Arts Diploma
      Successful completion of Modules 1 through 3 of Jewelry Arts.
    • Advanced Jewelry Arts Diploma
      Successful completion of Modules 1 through 4 of Jewelry Arts
  • Jewelry Appraisal - Registered MasterValuer Diploma
    Successful completion of 30 lesson correspondence course AND
    Successful completion of 3-day practical workshop
    AND
    Be a certified Gemologist (i.e. GG, FGA, etc). Call us to discuss your credentials.
    OR
    Successful completion of resident MasterValuer Course (taught in multiple locations worldwide

      All gemological certificates and diplomas are awarded by the Gemmological Association of Great Britain upon a students completion of all the above examinations.

      The FGA credentials, also awarded by the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, are available from Gem-A upon completion of all required examinations.
  1. Do you assist with Employment assistance/job market?
    CIJT will assist all of graduates with employment and placement upon successfully completing the course. We have no geographical boundary and have trained students from around the globe for nearly 3 decades.
