The California Institute of Jewelry Training, in partnership with the Canadian Gemmological Association, offers the Canadian Professional Gemmology Course which leads to the internationally recognized Diploma in Gemmology and Fellowship (FCGmA) in the Canadian Gemmological Association. The Canadian program was adapted from the FGA program by certified FGA gemologists over 50 years ago.

Good news: those of you who have earned the Foundation Certificate with Gem-A will receive full credit and may enroll directly into the FCGmA Diploma course.

The program is internationally recognized with graduates of the program employed in the gem trade throughout the world. Graduates work in all areas of the gem and jewelry trade as buyers, retailers, appraisers, educators and senior jewelry industry professionals.

In conjunction with the MasterValuer™ program, the graduate can progress to the field of professional jewelry appraising.
